Welcome to the
Happy Father's Day to all of my readers who are Dads! I dedicate this issue of The Unlimited Newsletter to my Dad. Recently, we received some tough news about my 66-year old Dad's health. This is the kind of diagnosis you hope you never have to hear. And when you do, all you can do is hold each other tight and support, love and pray.
In this month's issue, I want to share my Father's new journey with you. Actually, he agreed to write about it so you can read his story and life lessons straight from him!
I also have included a story in this month's newsletter about how to build your Executive Presence. This is something that many leaders are wanting to strengthen through Potential Unlimited's Executive Coaching Program. I have included some top tips for you!
Enjoy the ride!

Live Like You Are Dying!
Each day we live, we are one step closer to death. This is not meant to scare you. It is just stating a fact. In developed countries, people live on average just over 24,000 days.
Although we know that we are born to eventually die, it can still feel like the world stops for a while when the threat or fear of death to you or someone that you love comes knocking at your door.
My family recently received news that I must say did feel like it took my breath away for a while. I didn't know how to fix this and there is really no way I can, so I am just there to love and support. This story impacts me each day, but it really belongs to my Dad. He has agreed not only to share his story, but to write it himself for you. I am honoured to share with you my Dad's journey. I couldn't be more proud of you, Dad.
Written by my Dad:
This journey started with shortness of breath but having a cold, hard winter, I chalked it up to lack of exercise. Each week, the shortness of breath kept worsening which brought me to my doctor. Read more of my Dad's story and some of his life lessons.
Looking for Your Executive Presence? Start Searching Within!
It seems like 'Executive Presence' has become the latest buzz terminology in leadership development around making people more effective leaders. I have received a spike in the number of executives over the past year signing up for Potential Unlimited's Executive Coaching program saying they want to improve their executive presence.
Executive presence is extremely important, just as it have always been. This term can be vague and mean different things for different people. But overall, I think executive presence comes down to leading confidently while incorporating authentic leadership. We all have a presence when we walk into a room. Often, it is reflected by your personality in combination with your confidence in a particular situation. It is possible that your executive presence could be different with your team than when you are meeting with a group of more senior leaders.
