Carey-Ann Oestreicher Wins Top 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Award
Owner of Career Development Firm for Women Pushes Her Own Career to the Top

(Toronto, ON, November 7, 2013) - Today, Carey-Ann Oestreicher, BA, MBA, owner of the career development firm for women, Potential Unlimited, was awarded a Top 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Award from Business Link Media Group.

The award is given to trailblazers in business who have demonstrated the highest standard of performance through accomplishments within their careers as well as within their lives outside of work.

Carey-Ann’s career, largely within the automotive/transportation and financial services industries, led her to become an executive before taking the leap to create a business that she saw the demand and opportunity to create – a business around helping women continue to grow and push the limits in their careers while addressing work-life balance issues.

"I feel extremely blessed to be recognized with a Top 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Award for doing work that I love," said Carey-Ann Oestreicher of Potential Unlimited. "By helping other women become stronger in their careers, I am actually becoming stronger in my own career."

Carey-Ann Shares Top Tips for Igniting Your Career:

1.Don't Compete. Collaborate. Don't focus on surpassing others. Concentrate on building a strong network.

2.Authenticity. Don't try to be someone you are not to impress others at work. Be proud of who you are.

3. Set Boundaries. When you love your job, it is easy to become addicted to it. But, it is important to take the time to completely shut down work so you can give yourself a break.

4. Be Passionate. Life is too short to perform your job on autopilot or even worse, to dread going into work each day. If you are committed to your job, it is time to fully get on board. If you don't enjoy your job, it's time to get off the boat.

5. Focus (And Go with the Flow). Research shows we work our best while focused and having fun.
